Kimberly S. Marquis
Kimberly S. Marquis is The Baig Firm’s Senior Paralegal. Kimberly was born in Red Bank., N.J. and raised in Central Park West in Manhattan. Kimberly graduated from Cathedral High School in 1978 and attended Pace University while working as an Administrative Assistant for several large advertising agencies. After a 10-year career as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal on Wall Street, Kimberly and her family moved to Georgia in 1991.
Kimberly began her legal career in the Atlanta area working for large and mid-size law firms in the Buckhead and Midtown area. In 2007, Kimberly ventured out on her own started her a company providing virtual legal assistant services to a variety of law firm clientele.
In 2011, Kimberly accepted a position with the Georgia Department of Human Services in the Commissioner’s Office of Legal Services where she handled appeals for Medicaid, Food Stamps, TANF, Child Care and State Adoption for all 159 counties in Georgia. In December 2013, Kimberly transferred to the Georgia Department of Community Health and worked in the State Health Benefit Plan where she drafted policy and procedure for SHBP Regulations, as well as researched and determined eligibility on Formal Appeal claims.
Kimberly joined The Baig Firm in February of 2018 with over 30 years of knowledge and experience in supporting litigation attorneys. Kimberly’s wealth of experience is an invaluable asset not only for the Firm, but also for the clients we service.
